The AGFRC RS485 Bus Servo bridges RC-grade mechanical integration with industrial communication standards. Unlike conventional PWM servos, this unit communicates over a single twisted pair using the RS485 differential bus — eliminating PWM signal degradation, enabling daisy-chain topologies, and providing real-time telemetry on position, torque, voltage, current, and temperature.
Each servo responds to a compact request–response frame protocol with a fixed header, servo ID, command code, and payload. The protocol supports both point-to-point addressing and broadcast commands, making it straightforward to scale from a single actuator to a multi-axis robotic system.
Differential bus communication with baud rates from 9,600 to 230,400 bps. 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.
Real-time reporting of angle, torque, velocity, voltage, current, and dual temperature sensors.
Supports incremental (±) and absolute multi-turn positioning with signed 32-bit angle commands.
